StacksWare

In 2015, I took Stanford's CS 210 (Software project with a corporate sponsor). Our team was partnered with VMware.

As part of the project, we discovered that many companies struggled with their VMware and other software licensing; they were either non-compliant and at risk of fines or underprovisioned and wasting licenses.

To solve these problems, we built StacksWare. StacksWare continuously inventoried and metered software applications across a company's enterprise environment, allowing IT to make software purchasing decisions informed by software usage trends.

In mid-2015, we raised $2M from Lightspeed and Greylock to turn StacksWare into a company.

StacksWare was acquired by Avi Networks in Sep 2017.

Avi Networks

At Avi Networks, I led a Go infrastructure team as an engineering manager.

In particular, I worked on improving realtime synchronization between the Avi's managemer and load balancers. Avi subsequently patented our solution.

I also worked primarily remotely, which inspired my interest in remote work and subsequently let to the founding of Pragli.
